Tabang Malaybalay Feeding Program

3:29:00 PM

Once again, Tabang Malaybalay extends their generosity to the Mt. Moriah Ministry last March 15, 2014.

After the successful journey to Saugan (One of the devastated Barangays in Samar during typhoon Yolanda), the Tabang Malaybalay organized a profitable event during Valentine’s Day like flower deliveries and serenade, which aims to help the less fortunate people in Malaybalay.

For those of you who are not familiar with the Mt. Moriah Ministry, it’s an organization that helps the less fortunate families in Malaybalay City, as well as introducing the word of God to them.

The Tabang Malaybalay Team went there personally to witness the feeding program. Jacquie, Michael, Incioy and I were glad to help those kids and their parents in a little way. We were so happy seeing the kids singing and dancing gospel music; thanks to the Moriah volunteers who made the event merry. It was such a fulfilling day for all of us; we were able to cater 422 people during that day. The kids and their parents enjoyed the prepared foods (Bihon and Adobong Manok) and shakes. It was priceless seeing their smiles. :)

Personally, I was so touched after the event because the team did not expect that the jolly volunteers prepared an inspirational song number for us, in exchange to our visit. We are all beyond words and one thing I learned is that, help others while you can.

Here are some photos during the feeding program:

And I wasn't able to escape the sample sample galore. I was glad to have Lyn (the girl in peach shirt) to sing with me.
